Dr. Greg Marsolais

Originally from Northern California, Dr. Marsolais moved to the Monterey Peninsula in 2006. He earned both his Master of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Iowa State University. He then completed an internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists in Maitland, Florida, followed by a surgical residency at the University of Illinois. In 2007, he became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons.

In 2011, Dr. Marsolais founded Pet Specialists of Monterey, an AAHA-accredited 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital serving the Monterey Peninsula. He sold the practice in 2020 and remained on staff until 2024. Currently, he is a Lecturer in Orthopedics at the University of Illinois and operates Pet Surgeons Inc., a mobile veterinary surgery company.
